20th CHARTER ANNIVERSARY

We'll be celebrating this landmark anniversary with a dinner at Allendale Village Hall on Saturday 13th April. Guests will include past and current members of Allendale Lions Club, colleagues from other region Lions clubs and members of the Allendale community. BONFIRE UPDATE

Allendale Lions have had many enquiries about Bonfire Night. It's an event we've been running since 2003 but which is now so much more complicated to organise. Insurance is more difficult, firework regulations are a lot stricter and for very good reasons, we need to find an alternative site which has the approval of residents who live close by. Moving forwards, we are hopeful that, after 12 months of hard work and help from others, we will soon be in a position to resolve all these issues. With good luck, good management and all the volunteer help we'll need, we hope to bring the event back on November 5th 2024. Save the date!
